Back in December my loving husband surprised me with this gift that he picked out all by himself:
I am extremely cold natured- friends laugh because I wear lots of layers and use my seat warmers all year- even through the hot Florida summer months. This Therapedic Electric Mattress Pad is heavenly! I used to have an electric blanket, but the thing was "snaggy" {roll with my new word} you know what I mean, it was borderline nasty feeling and my husband was always throwing his portion over on me – nearly roasting me every night. This heated mattress pad has dual controls- I can have mine on high and his can be on low! AND it is probably saving us $ on our energy bill too – we no longer turn the heat on at night, we just snuggle in with this. The deal is – whoever gets home from work first turns them on so they can be "preheating"… we are total dweebs, I know. The best part is – your sheets (my preference is percale) which I am sure you love – don’t snag on it or change texture – they are just heated up to perfection. NOW GO OUT AND BUY ONE – YOU WON’T REGRET IT!!!!!
Hey! No, they sold it a few years ago! Hence, the reason we haven’t been to the beach in forever! We’ll get back soon, I hope! When we do, we’ll for sure get together. Oh, and the wall color is Benjamin Moore Tansy green. I love it! We are in a rental house now so I haven’t been able to do EVERYTHING that I want, but Dave at least let me put paint on the walls. He let me get a little creative in the Kitchen, nursery, and master, but everything else is nuetral…do to repainting when we leave! We may purchase this house, but LOTS of changes will be done. Fixtures, CARPET, kitchen, etc. But, I’m thankful for my rental house and am extremely blessed to have a husband who thinks through every decision and purchase we make!!!!!
