Honestly, they are usually more moving for me than this one… but for some reason I cannot stop thinking about this image of Door 16's Make-Up drawer.
I have been wishing for a long time that a organizational fairy would stop by my house and paper-line all my drawers and put my cosmetics and kitchen utensils in cute organized containers like this for me… wishful thinking? Probably.
Do you have a Container Store near you? I don't. But I have been dreaming about cute paper-lined drawers and shelves and their lucite storage containers.
Are you organized? Behind your closed doors and drawers are there cute storage containers and compartments for all your goodies? Not at my house, but I'm considering turning over a new leaf.
I think I am going to go to their site and look around at some things.
forget closed doors! You should see this house the minute you walk through the front door. Rolling racks of winter clothes for storage, boxes and bags in every corner for the garage sale and stuff just stacked up that needs to go in the attic, but no point putting it in said attic when those items are all coming down in 1 week. I am going through clean house withdrawals!
Love the drawer pic. I have to say that I’m pretty obsessed with being organized. I’d love to get paid to be a professional organizer/cleaner outer person…maybe someday! LOL! For now, I just organize my own stuff and try to rub a little organizational mojo off on Derick.
i admit to sometimes being ocd about organizing. although i rarely have time to keep organized, when i get the chance, my closet is always neat and organized. I love it, ill post pics soon.

I just organized our bathroom things yesterday!! It’s not perfect, but it’s definitely better. We did lidded baskets with plastic trays (not cute) inside, and I have my makeup brushes in a jelly jar.
I love this image too. If I had a drawer like this it would make me smile everytime I opened it.
Forget Container Store! They are good for Elfa, but if want organized drawers, you have to try http://www.custominserts.com
I’ve used them in two homes now, and can’t say enough good things about their product. Strong and perfectly fit inserts. A must in kitchen drawers. Custom and affordable. Measure twice and read the directions on the website carefully! LOVE it.

I wish I was super organized but I’m not. I can manage to keep one thing under control but then the wheels fall off in all other areas. Currently: my closet=good, office=disaster area.
what i want to know is how does she keep her bare minerals makeup for coating the fab paper (and everything else)with its mineral dust???;;; i mean i love my bare minerals but my makeup drawer is a mess because of it.

I love the drawer picture. Call me crazy, but I enjoy making a mess so I can clean it- I know sic! I was cleaning the basement the other day and took everything and put it in one pile. Oh my goodness…

It starts out that way then very quickly looks like a bomb has exploded and sent bits and bobs all over..:)
So funny you should post this because on Monday, I went through my drawers in our new master bath, took everything out and cleaned up. I purged old makeup that I haven’t worn in forever and ordered 3 of the large acrylic boxes from CS…I can’t wait for them to arrive.
I would love to paper the insides of my vanity…Good idea – paper and thumbtacks here I come!

i want to be organized…does that count? there was an article in domino last fall about organizing drawers and closets. i got inspired by it, but it quickly fizzled out. i did manage to go through my closet and get rid of clothes i don’t wear anymore. scrapbook paper is so cheap and cute that you could easliy use it to line makeup drawers and toss when it gets grungy.
how about I come and organize your drawers and line them with pretty paper and you come and give me inspiration for home decor. Deal?
