this entryway feels like fall

[gil schafer]

Speaking of fall, I’ve gone with Cinderella Pumpkins this year at my house.  Or are they Heirlooms? I am not positive, both are equally beautiful.  Do I like them because their bumpy,  gray-green, waxy skin makes me feel better about my own skin?  There could be some truth to that, but we won’t tell them.  They are perfectly imperfect.

I can’t take credit, I copied my neighbor.  Kelly posted this photo below on Facebook and I couldn’t resist. I raced out and bought some for my table too.

    {the pic of mine are in the banner on my website.}

  2. I went with gray pumpkins this year too! I feel so hip now that I know that you have them ;-)

  3. I love them!! Did you just get them from the regular grocery store? I haven’t seen them at the Publix or Kroger around here…

  4. I purchased these too this year. I actually stacked them on top of one another in a container. xo

  5. Love the pumpkins, love this time of year. The air is crisp and the leaves are just beginning to turn and fall in N.C.
I am so ready to see the finished photos of your kitchen redo.
Please show us…the color you used for the cabinets was very interesting.I know it is fabulous!!!

  6. Oh my gosh – I am head over heels for that entryway! I swear my next house will have some of that character…

  7. Love all the different pumpkins! Cinderella, fairy tale, etc. Fall is in the air!

  8. Are you having issues with your skin, Erika? I got the wonderbar and thought it was helping (my issue is enlarged pores) but now I’m not seeing the improvement.

    Gorgeous pumpkins!

  9. Love them! And, selfishly, wondering when we can look forward to that kitchen reveal? Your shelving in the kitchen that showed a little in the birthday party pics really sparked my interest. Just love your style!

  10. oh Gil Schafer…you always get it right

  11. I have always loved Cinderella pumpkins. I visit historic Deerfield in Western MA which is filled with the many different style pumpkins. They add such a different element to this time of year.

  12. I like those too! You know what else I like is white pumpkins….and hedge apples!

  13. I love the shape of these pumpkins too. White pumpkins are my favorite. Will you painting these pumpkins or keeping them natural? You can’t go wrong with gray. Hey, maybe a gray pumpkin painted with gold paint in a funky pattern would be cool. Gray and gold rock…okay, I digress, sorry.

  14. I think the grey tone of those pumpkins are your signature color.
