jen thompson and her boys

Remember when I blogged about my new website and told you how much I loved working with Jen and Mike, my friends at Big Folio?  Well… last week Jen was diagnosed with stage 3 Ovarian Cancer.  She is in surgery today for 5-7 hours.  Please, please, please keep her and her sweet family in your prayers?  You can follow Jen’s journey on her blog.

  42. Im so sorry to hear of your friends illness. But it pisses me off how clueless doctors are. Why do women go in with these same complaints only to be ignored for months. If they would just look for this up front how many lives could be saved or prolonged. My prayers and thoughts are with her.

  43. I will hold her in prayer, of course, and at the same time I wanted to DO something. And then I received an email about a race to raise money for cancer research at the Winship Cancer Center at Emory. The race goes through my neighborhood! The whole family is signed up to run and raise money. I haven’t run in years, but I will run for Jen.

  44. I’ll be keeping Jen and her family in my thoughts today.
