Urban Grace Interiors {the blog} bio picture

Welcome to my blog!

My name is Erika and this is my blog.  You might have come here from my old blog- if so please update your feed or bookmark the new site... I promise it'll be much better than the old blog.  If you are new around here welcome!  I'm so glad you are here.  A little background on me: I am a new mom to a precious little girl, a designer, a wife, and the mother of two rescued dogs (Penelope & Paisley).  I am passionate about design, and I also enjoy gardening, good pens, art, photography, antiques, traveling, and rescued animals.

If you are curious about my design business, Urban Grace Interiors, you can click that link above titled "Portfolio" that will take you to official website.  This blog is just my daily ramblings... some of which are design related, and some of which are not.  I hope you like what you find here... I aim to inspire.

memo to the North Pole

blablalineup

Dear Santa,

My name is Sloane.  But my mother calls me “Sloaney Bologna”.  I have been a very good girl this year.  I sleep through the night, smile and giggle, and coo.  I could melt your heart right out of your chest Santa.

I am also a little bit sick right now.  It is pitiful to be so young and be sick.  (At least that’s what I hear my momma say.)

I think a new BlaBla doll would make me feel better.  I have the 3 on the right, but I don’t have the princess on the left.

Love and baby kisses,
Sloane

December 11, 2009 - 8:52 am Suz - Love it! I generally don't encourage the princess stuff, but I must admit that one is totally cute.

December 11, 2009 - 8:52 am Ivy Lane - Ohhh.... I hope Sloane is on the mend!!!

December 11, 2009 - 8:57 am Jennifer Little - Okay--adorable!

December 11, 2009 - 9:20 am holland - awwww i love blabla dolls. and so does chappell! hope santa gets her some!

December 11, 2009 - 9:30 am Saffron - oooOOooo...and I thought I loved sock monkeys!!! these are too much! Ok Santa, I know I'm a bit older now...but I'd love a blabla doll too...if it's not too much trouble, could you swing by? I'll leave a fuzzy stocking out and some super yummy cookies! tee hee

December 11, 2009 - 9:31 am Valerie - Erika - I'm a long time admirer of your blog & your talent with interior design. I'm just starting out blogging and adding you to my blog roll! Keep up the good work - I love seeing what you design.

December 11, 2009 - 9:38 am Michele - Erika-I just bought a blahblah doll for my niece for Christmas. The dolls are so adorable. I enjoy your blog and look forward to reading it. Sloane is beautiful:)

December 11, 2009 - 9:44 am Devon - I hope Sloane is doing okay. It's hard on the mama to have her little ones sick as well so I hope you are also doing okay. Take care of both of you.

December 11, 2009 - 9:47 am Jessica - I love BlaBla dolls too - they're all so cute! I need to get some for Soraya...she's been deprived of them so far since I don't think we have a store here that carries them (probably a good thing). Hoping sweet little Sloane gets the princess she wants for Christmas and that she's feeling better soon! It's really sad when they get sick so young. Poor Soraya's already had 2 colds thanks to her big sister (and she's about 2 weeks younger than Sloane) - so I know how you feel!

December 11, 2009 - 10:01 am Liz In Scotland - Baby girl!! I agree-it IS pitiful. Sending millions of kisses from the frosty Highlands to the little girl who could melt it all away!
