A little background on me: I am a new mom to a precious little girl, a designer, a wife, and the mother of two rescued dogs (Penelope & Paisley). I am passionate about design, and I also enjoy gardening, good pens, art, photography, antiques, traveling, and rescued animals.

Thanksgiving two years ago my cousin (by marriage) and her dad (that would make him my uncle by marriage) made Paula Dean’s Pumpkin Gingerbread Trifle. It was insanely good. I think this year I’ll be making it… maybe you should consider it too!? It’s easy, which is important considering my life lately. And LOOK 5 stars with 702 reviews! Let me know if you try this one!

November 17, 2009 - 8:09 pm - The only way to improve that recipe might be to add dark chocolate. Perhaps chocolate shavings on the top instead of the crumbled ginger snaps? Yum!

I am taking the easy way out and picking up desserts from the Cheescake Factory and taking them back home to Alabama. I might put them on a nice cake plate though to make it look as though I really made them! ha
