I’m here to admit that I am a detail freak. I can only assume that I am not alone. Thankfully I married an observant man who challenges my observations. We leave dinner parties and play "what color socks did _____ have on?" I know, sounds silly… but I am the type who could probably nail a bank robber with just a 1 second glance.
I have bought bags because of the lining.
I have bought shoes because of the lining.
I have bought jackets because of the lining.
And I think the lining is as important at the outside of the ___________.

PLEASE help me solve what keeps playing over and over in my head: {I think it was in Elle Decor or a very early issue of Domino} a feature on the CEO of JCrew’s personal home. He had a navy blazer custom lined in a silk scarf (I can picture it – but perhaps he just talked about it in the article and there wasn’t a photo)… someone please tell me you remember this too??? If I had 2 months to spare and no work – I’d start scouring thru my mags… anyone else remember this??
