details on pillows & quilts

Square pillows are in Galbraith & Paul’s Sweet Pea color “Sky”.  We love G&P!  They are hand-printed, which equates to a hefty price tag and a long lead time, but they are so gorgeous and worth it!

The striped fabric on the bolsters is Robert Allen’s Chevron Row in Silver Sage.

The quilts are Suzi Stonewashed Traditions by Pamela Kline.  I have one (ivory) on my bed and LOVE LOVE LOVE it.  It is a perfect weight and so very soft.  Stonewashed and pre-shrunk 100% Egyptian Cotton. They come in a few colors and in sizes twin, full/queen, king and shams are available in boudoir, standard, king, and euro.

These items are to the trade only, but if you are interested (I’ll list the prices below) you can email Lauren if you wish to order or see additional color options:

trina turk brought her A game

We love F. Schumacher around here!  Trina Turk’s outdoor fabrics were just what the doctor ordered for this otherwise all white rooftop patio.  The square in the middle of the banquette is a firepit.  Beverage fridge to the right.  And not shown right behind me (your photographer) sits a hot tub with a wrap-around bar and stools.  Not a bad a place to hang out, not a bad view either!  And you should hear their stereo system. I take that back,  you probably CAN hear their stereo system.  And if that hot Florida sun starts to bother, there is a big canopy sail that they can hoist up to protect themselves from those pesky UVAs and UVBs.

This was a very fun project!  The Architect: Gary Justiss and The Builder: Artisan

AND…  I’ll take this opportunity to tell you that I haven’t seen any oil here.  So if you are planning a vacation to this wonderful little place I call home, come on!

a few items of interest

The really great husbands out there have already emailed or called to purchase  gift certificates for design services for their wives for Mother’s Day!  I don’t know about you, but I can think of a few rooms in my house I’d like to finish.

That fabric from a couple of posts ago that many of you asked about is F.Schumacher’s Ziggurat, and it indeed is very delicious.  While I dislike the term “transitional” I think this fabric is.  I might even need some of it for my house… and that says a lot, because I have a hard time committing to fabrics.  Maybe because I see so many?  I fear if I pick one, tomorrow I’ll find one I like better?  Who knows.

In other fabric news, I receive many inquiries about the fabric that is on the chairs in my living room and unfortunately up until last week I had no idea how to get my hands on that fabric, well guess what… Allison found it!

If you are interested in that fabric (above on chairs), a gift certificate, or that F.Schumacher fabric you can email Allison: allison(at)urbangrace(dot)com !
