getting out of our rut

Things have been pretty hectic around here lately between technological catastrophes, personal injuries, and broken cars. However, we are slowly but surely getting things back on track! To show signs of life here at Urban Grace we thought we’d share some lively fabrics we are loving right now…

Erika’s choice :: Katie Ridder :: Peony

Allison’s choice :: Mally Skok :: Rohet

Lauren’s choice :: Raoul Textiles :: Pasha

If you want information on these fabrics you can email lauren(at)urbangrace(dot)com !

Part of our technological trouble is related to the “contact” form on our website… it does not work.  Which is terrible.  If you’ve filled out that form and never heard from us, it’s because we never got the inquiry! Ugh. We are trying to get this fixed, but if you need us… please email: allison(at)urbangrace(dot)com

We’re getting back on track, catching up, and recovering… you’ll be seeing more of us on a regular basis now.

Happy 2011!

sleeping with fabric: to drape, or not to drape?

{reposting this, after I deleted it for the 3rd time}

Early this yesterday morning I spent well over an hour compiling a beautiful and informative post on the obvious common theme in these images below.

Then I went to the top of the post and put my cursor beside the first image and hit "enter"… thank you typepad… every single time I do this, my computer freezes and says "not responding", I then lose the post.

I think there should be an "autodraft" every 4 minutes, Typepad, are you listening? Same thing happens when I spell check… ahhh.

That being said, the sources on the following images are uber-important and are mostly from Southern Accents, NIBS (thanks Martha B), Style Court (thank you Courtney), and Desire to Inspire. Because I am on the verge of breaking my computer and having a complete and total break down, I hope you can have mercy* on me… if you have specific questions leave a comment and I'll dig up more info for you.

What do you think?  Could you sleep encompassed with fabric at night?

I could! I love a little nest… and I love fabric.  My dilemma would be that I'd want one look for summer and one look for winter, which could get pricey.

Maybe someday!

*- nothing is worse than a blogger who uses images and doesn't reference the source, I hate to be that person.  Each image is 'saved as' their source, so most of the above images, if you right click 'save as'- your computer will show you the source in the file name… it might be in my weird "code" language with abbreviations… but it's a shot.  If I wasn't posting this for the 3rd time and if I had nothing else to do today, I'd go thru and relink all of them… seriously, you want to know source- leave comment and I'll dig it out.
