Searchable 

I get a lot of emails that say "Sorry to  bug you, but I am looking for so-and-so on your blog and can't find it?" 

Truth be known, I usually can't find it either. 

Well, I've resolved that issue.   

You can now search this blog… thanks to a new sidebar module over in the left column. 

Just a few gray hairs and some over-my-head html code…and WAH-LAH!

Pumpkin garden 

Did you see this in this month's Cottage Living?  A garden of pumpkins. Delightful.

Could you do it?  I think I could!

I planted bird house gourds last year… they nearly took over… but what fun it was to watch them grow!

When I went to buy pumpkins this year I cheaped out (maybe it's the economy), I only bought 2.  I wanted to load my front steps full of them… like this:

Next year maybe I will plant pumkin seeds in the summer… so I can have a plethora without breaking the bank!

i’m no fashionista… by any stretch of the imagination.  i’d rather spend money on things for my house than things for my bod’. however, this "spring preview" at JCrew makes me want to fill my social calendar full of events worthy of festive colorful clothing like theirs pictured above!
